I think w/ roses, the shot has to be even better than with any other flower shot because it is SO frequently photographed. I think this is a very good shot, but a few things keep it from being a gallery rose shot. The petal in the foreground is outside of the DOF, and it looks like the water has soaked through the petal. I find the small 'puddle' of water distracting. So I vote contra, but it is still a very good shot. Be proud.
