on Wreck Beach, Vancouver ...
we walked down the 473 steps to Wreck Beach to enjoy the sun, sea and surf .... and in the middle of all that sand on the beach someone had created a flower bed, and several flowers were thriving ....a beautiful surprise.

Merveilleuse photo, Adele! Quelle beauté pleine de fraîcheur! Ces coquelicots-surprise, au bord de la mer, avec leurs feuilles vertes sur fond de sable et de vaguelettes lointaines, se dressent dans une harmonie remarquable vers le ciel bleu nuageux et la montagne qui ferme l'horizon! Red and green, with a blue-colored sky in the background, so no wishes remain unfulfilled!
Besides that poppies are my favorite flowers especially combined with bluebottles!

Du hast das große Glück, dass "deine" Blüten immer vor grandioser Kulisse wachsen. (Bei uns stehen sie einfach in einer Wiese herum ;-).) Dadurch wirken die Blüten nochmal so gut und das Bild wird zu einem Hingucker.
