Peaceful Meal

After the two squirrels had finally ended their fight for the food, they sat down on the left and right of the tree and looked there - in different areas - for nuts and grains. It is easier to get to the food peacefully. So they could still enjoy their peaceful meal. Since it was not possible for me to photograph them together with a long focal length, I just took four pictures, from which this panorama was then created. So I finally got the two together in the picture.

"As an active and imaginative diurnal animal, the squirrel is well adapted to life in the immediate vicinity of humans. There are also so-called urban squirrels, whose main source of food is the feeding grounds of birds. However, the squirrel feels most comfortable in its natural habitat in the coniferous forest , where it can make ample hiding places for winter feeding."


Friedliches Mahl

Nach dem die beiden Eichhörnchen ihren Kampf um´s Futter endlich beendet hatten, setzten sie sich nun links und rechts des Baumes hin und suchten dort - in unterschiedlichen Bereichen - nach Nüssen und Körnern. Friedlich kommt man eben eher an das Futter heran. So konnten sie ihr friedliches Mahl doch noch genießen. Da es mir mit langer Brennweite nicht möglich war sie gemeinsam abzulichten, machte ich eben vier Aufnahmen, aus denen dann diese Panorama entstand. So bekam ich die beiden endlich zusammen in´s Bild.

"Als aktives und einfallsreiches Tagtier ist das Eichhörnchen gut an das Leben in unmittelbarer Nähe des Menschen angepasst. Es gibt auch sogenannte Stadt-Eichhörnchen, deren wichtigste Nahrungsquelle die Futterstellen von Vögeln sind. Am wohlsten fühlt sich das Eichhörnchen jedoch in seinem natürlichen Lebensraum im Nadelwald, wo es reichlich Futterverstecke für den Winter anlegen kann."
