..to be honest: as I saw this scene, my first thougth was on Pink Floyd - because of their famous LP-cover of "Atom Heart Mother" - and so I shot it....Saludos cordiales, Ansgar
Oh, fine! ... And I can’t help but listen to their music once again... PF are the best for me and Roger W is my idol: He is half Italian, cause he was born near Rome during last war.
Did you know that at the last Venice Biennale I met him 3 times? He was accompagned by a tall, middle-aged blonde woman... They were leaving a message with the pebbles in front of the Russian pavilion (which was closed and with nobody around except me)...
An incredible emotion assailed me ... I could neither take a photo nor say a single word, I wasn’t even sure it was him...
But fastly the security came and blocked their action... What readiness, what alacrity showed in this occasion... and what a shame!
Then I met them again two more times, once when they were sitting outside the German pavilion to consult some texts. From there I was sure it was him, but I didn’t want he could notice that I was watching him... Then when I was resting outside another pavilion, I turned my head and saw him pass just before me... a gift of destiny!
This is the best thing that happened to me this year in Venice .
Apologize for the long tale and bad English, dear friend

Have you ever seen the great concert held in Berlin in 1990? Difficult to find on Internet... It's the top of all with many singers and bands partecipating too ... Unforgettable!
...yes. It was a live-show in German TV...I saw not everything, but most of it....it was great, because our wall fell down a year ago. It moved me to tears, then...
I cried then and I still cry every time I listen to the performances of Van Morrison, the Scorpions, Sinead o'Connor, Joni Mitchell, Brian Adams, Paul Carrack and Roger Waters obviously among others.
Too bad David Gilmour didn’t participate, I love him the same way.
Berlin wall has been a big problem for Italians too.
Hoping no other wall will never be built again anywhere.
P&L
..meanwhile, caused by internet and so called "social" media we have the walls in our heads....too much information and too much fake news, too much social disparity..and so on...I saw, you posted a picture to this theme....Ciao, a presto, cara sorella!
