In God's Country - Station Swallowed by Debris Flow

This is the original Dongchuan monitoring station set up to research the nature of mudslides, and the properties of the subsequent debris flow. The mudslides are regular at this site, and without warning the station was toppled by the power, and sheer force of the debris flow which can carry thousands of tonnes of boulders down the mountains. The building is a reminder of the capricious side, maybe even the cruel character of nature itself.
