Flash of sunlight

Namibia : Coastal Dune belt between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund. Late afternoon shot. Heavy (high) fog rendered a totally overcast sky. Suddenly a flash of sunlight burst through an opening in the sky caused by strong south westerly winds.This play of light on the dunes was driven from south to north and I waited for it to reach me. I "shot" and it moved on -within seconds it was all gone.

Dünen-streifen zwischen Swakopmund und Walvis Bay.Starker, allerdings hoher Nebel. Plötzlich brach ein Lichtstrahl durch eine kleine Öffnung am Himmel heraus. Getrieben von einem starken südwest Wind bewegte sich der Strahl von Süd nach Nord und ich wartete auf ihn. Ich "schoss" und er wanderte weiter nach Norden. Nach ein paar Sekunden war Alles vorbei -als ob es ihn nie gegeben hätte.
