Our friend from Liberia in front learning to cultivate the fish breeding for his country.
Tilapia is the name for several species of freshwater fish. Although farmed all over the world, Thailand is one of the largest producer of this fish.
Although wild Tilapia are native to Africa, the fish has been introduced throughout the world and is now farmed in over 135 countries as in Thailand too.

    Lecker ist der Fisch. Wir essen ihn hin und wieder sehr gerne, achten aber sehr darauf dass er nicht aus einer Zucht in China kommt. Die Gründe kann man hier nachlesen:

    Auch die Thailänder stehen im Verdacht oft zu viel Antibiotika bei der Zucht zu verwenden. man sollte also schon einen Züchter oder Händler seines Vertrauens kennen.
    Zu oft sollte man ihn allerdings nicht essen wegen der ungünstigen Omega 6 zu Omega 3 Verhältnisse die zu Entzündungen im Körper führen können.
