Early Wildflower in the back yard..........
......this has to be one of the smallest wildflowers I have ever shot, I had to use a 36mm extension tube between my Canon 5D and the Canon 100mm, f 2.8, macro lens to get enough magnification, it does narrow the dof so everything around it is blurred, it looks like a little orchid but it is only about 4 to 5mm long, and there are hundreds of them all over the yard, but I never looked this close at them before.....

This picture just goes to prove that you really should look closer at your yard... especially before you get out the mower and scalp it all..... and you know you do that :)))))))Have fun and keep those eyes peeled.
