Nikon cameras are tough. This photo was taken right after a 3 ft drop of the camera on solid rock. Nikon strap is lousy, it simply slide of the camera. Be ware Nikon owners!! Yes, the strap was properly attached according to manual, after this drop I tested and yes it slides of.
