Castle ‘Boechout’ at Meise (Belgium)
This medieval watercastle was originally built in the 12th century.
Renovation works in the 17th century gave the castle an Italian Renaissance look.
In 1879 the castle was bought by Leopold II, the then King of Belgium.
The other side of this castle can be seen in the picture below.
