In most cases the architectural aesthetic is very light with strict structure lines mainly reflecting the poverty of locals and their constant need to tend to God and beg divine mercy for long time travelling seamen and help to cope with bare everyday necessities. Also, their architectural design reflects the effect of past dominations they went through in the course of history. Many of them are loaded with wall paintings, frescoes and even mosaics that resisted not only time but also enemy hostility.....
