Mi chiamo Andrea De Paolis, vivo vicino a Pavia nel sud della Lombardia.
Sono sempre stato attratto dai paesaggi che mi circondano. Fin da bambino ho vissuto in campagna, amo il paesaggio rurale, e mi affascina la montagna, il senso di pace che comunica.
Ho iniziato per curiosità a fotografare solo qualche hanno fa, prima un po' di tutto senza avere bene in mente quello che volevo, poi nel tempo ho appreso che la fotografia parte da un'idea che prende forma e che il segreto è rallentare.
La fotografia fa a pugni con la fretta.
Amo poter avere il massimo controllo sulle foto che faccio e Photoshop e Lightroom sono gli strumenti che mi consentono di poter accedere in modo pratico e approfondito ai file digitali prodotti dalle mie due reflex.
Nelle mie intenzioni c'è la voglia di fare comprendere una parte del mio microcosmo attraverso le immagini ritratte nelle mie foto possibilmente sempre con purezza compositiva, aggiungendo un aspetto puramente personale.
Da poco mi sono avvicinato ai ritratti, cui mi piace aggiungere un look onirico, pur cercando di aderire sempre al contesto in cui vengono scattati.

My name is Andrea De Paolis , I live near Pavia in the south of Lombardy, Italy.
I've always been attracted by the landscapes that surround me. Since I was a child I've lived in the country, I love the countryside , and I'm fond of mountains, the sense of peace that they communicate.
I began to photograph out of a sense of curiosity only a few years ago, at first here and there without having in mind what I felt like, then over time I learned that photography starts with an idea that takes shape and that the secret is to slow down.
Photography is at odds with rush .
I love being able to have maximum control over the photos that I MAKE and Photoshop and Lightroom are the tools of the trade that allow me to be able to access in depth and in a practical way all the digital files coming out of my two DSLRs .
Why I want is to let people understand a part of my microcosm through the images portrayed in my photos.
Recently I approached portraits, to which I like to add a dreamy look, while trying to always adhere to the context in which they are shot.
