Adele D. Oliver
Walker Evans (November 3, 1903 – April 10, 1975) was an American photographer and photojournalist best known for his work for the Farm Security Administration (FSA) documenting the effects of the Great Depression. Much of Evans's work from the FSA period uses the large-format, 8x10-inch camera. He said that his goal as a photographer was to make pictures that are "literate, authoritative, transcendent".

REMARQUABLE composition !! cette photo met en dialogue divers types d'architecture : classique de la façade du musée avec les façades modernes et géométriques de l'arrière plan . L'ensemble qui donne une impression de tassement par l'effet du choix de la focale crée un fascinant jeu de formes et de lignes qui s'entrecoupent .Grand BRAVO !!!!!!

Es gab 2014 auch eine Ausstellung von Walker Evans in Berlin, wenn ich das jetzt hier lese.... schade das ich nicht da war. :-)Schöner Schnitt und eine Menge zu sehen, klasse Details und Schärfe auch.
