Who can understand anything
No one understands anyone else. We are, as the poet said, islands in the sea of life; between us flows the sea that defines and separates us. However much one soul strives to know another, he can know only what is told him by a word – a shapeless shadow on the ground of his understanding. I love expressions, because I know nothing of what they express. I’m like the master of St Martha: I’m satisified with what I’ve been given. I see, and that’s quite enough.

Wer kann schon alles verstehen?Ich sehe das Bild (Foto) als momentan als Zustandsbeschreibung...
Aber warum im anonymen Voting? Da ist ja nunmal keine Rückmeldung möglich- man erhält nur die Anzahl der Pro- und der Contrastimmen. Nun ja, man muss auch nicht alles verstehen :-)
