Armin, it is shot in West-Flanders near Brugge, indeed using infrared! Groetjes, o.

Jamie, here's some info on this photo:
Shot handheld with a Sony V1 using a Hoya R72 filter and an NDx4 filter. Exposure 1/30" at F2.8, ISO 100.
The castle is property of a company dealing in wood, it is located in West-Flanders near Brugge/Bruges.
Post-processing was only black/white point definition and custom white balance, if I remember correctly.
Shooting IR with just an NDx4 filter on this camera is a real challenge, because an ND8 or even ND8 + ND4 seems to be the best setup. So I have to wait until the light is not so bright anymore, and carefully choose composition...and then wait 20 seconds for the tiff file to be saved :-)

This has to be my favorite IR pic i have seen here on FC. Amazing work. Would love to know so much more about it. Where this place is, & what filters you used & exposure times etc if possible. Stunning image. Gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.

Very well done, beautiful image and good use of the monochrome aproach. Only the sky is rather flat, some HDR technique can help if there is information on the original (RAW for instance) or bracketing at the shot time.
