The Living Forest (456) : Common Dog-violet
Common dog-violet (also known as wood violet) is a typical woodland wildflower that likes to bloom in shady forest areas from april onwards.
It is the main foodplant for several butterfly and moth species living in the forest.
Dutch name : Bleeksporig bosviooltje
German name : Hain-Veilchen
Latin name : Viola riviniana
