The adventure starts... ...on the train 1

This summer I had a few days to get back to one of my favourite spots, Scotland, from Aug. 17th until 26th.

The trip started with a train ride from Zaragoza to Madrid where I was going to get my flight to Edinburgh.
Train trips are always lovely, I enjoy them a lot ... a perfect way to start a trip abroad.

The landscape was a typical August view of golden fields, with the pine trees interspersed and a few fields of sunflowers or lavender inbetween, just adding another splash of colour...

not only a great beginning of your trip but also a great illustration of einstein's "special theory of relativity": if it weren't for your added info, i might have mistaken the motion for that of the trees: they seem to be rushing by the camera as though in a terrible hurry; perhaps running from a fierce bush fire… but no, of course, not! they are "just" rushing by outside the train window… yep, einstein was definitely right: all motion is relative! ; )) looking forward to clicking myself through your visual travel journey, susana! hugs, sabine.
