Ein wunderbar gelungenes Portrait, das das Unvergleichliche, was Sir Peter Ustinov als Mensch der Öffentlichkeit ausgemacht hat, schlicht, ruhig und subtil widerspiegelt.Schade, dass er nicht mehr unter uns weilt.

Klasse!!Aber den meinen "Vorschreibern" schließe ich mich bezüglich des Vorhangs nicht an.
Den hätte ich auch nicht abgeschnitten.
Schön, dass das Foto nach so langer Zeit auf der Startseite gelandet ist.

Jan NeumannIch beneide dich darum, daß "sie" dich so nah an diesen wunderbaren Menschen herangeführt hat. Ich bin sicher, daß er da schon wußte, wie bald "sie" ihn am Schopfe packen würde... Und trotzdem hat er sein kluges Haupt aufrecht getragen; ohne Gejammer aktiv gelebt.
Ein gelungenes Portrait, nicht nur weil es den Meister zeigt. Schade nur, daß die Flasche die Gabel verdeckt, die er so herrlich ungeduldig und (neu-)gierig in der Hand hält, als wollte er sagen: "Wann serviert ihr mir denn nun endlich mein heutiges Stück Leben, das ich so gern in mich aufnehme!"
Ganz großes Kino, weil es so leise und subtil ist...

Ich beneide dich um dieses Foto - dem Mann könnte ich ewig zuhören, wenn er erzählt - und du fotografierst ihn eben mal so.....Ich möchte allerdings anmerken, für mein Empfinden könnte auf den Vorhang "verzichtet" werden, das Stück, wo der Pfeiler nicht vom Stoff bedeckt ist :-))
