The Scarlet Robin is found exclusively in Australia. It is not considered endangered, although breeding success is 8 - 40 %.Sometimes breeding parasites occur such as the Fan-tailed Cuckoo (Cacomantis flabelliformis), the Brush Cuckoo (Cacomantis variolosus), the Pallid cuckoo (Cuculus pallidus) or the Shining bronze cuckoo (Chrysococcyx lucidus)
Like our Red Robin, the Scarlet Robin belongs to the family of Flycatchers and is sometimes called the Scarlet Flycatcher.

Ich habe zur Zeit keine Zeit und auch wenig Lust neuere Bilder zu bearbeiten. Aus dem Grund nochmal ein paar australische Bilder. Ich hoffe die mögt ihr auch.
Das Scharlachrote Rotkelchen kommt ausschließlich in Australien vor. Es gilt als nicht gefährdet, trotzdem der Bruterfolg bei 8 - 40 % liegt. Zuweilen treten auch Brutparasiten auf wie der Fächerschwanzkuckuck (Cacomantis flabelliformis), der Buschkuckuck (Cacomantis variolosus), der Blasskuckuck (Cuculus pallidus) oder der Bronzekuckuck (Chrysococcyx lucidus) .
Wie unser Rotkelchen gehört das Scharlachrote Rotkelchen zu der Familie der Schnäpper und wird zuweilen auch Scharlachschnäpper genannt.
