Pondering Angel
The statue of an angel that decorates Exeter Cathedral.
The Cathedral was founded back in 1050, and has survived through the Dissolution of the Monasteries, English Civil War, and World War II. The building is a mixture of both Norman (the original style) and Gothic styles and has England's longest uninterrupted vaulted ceiling in any Cathedral.
