Interesting effect with the use of those color filters : the water looks so calm without shimmering light reflections. And probably filter adds to the nice softness of this image, too.
I like the ship on the horizon.

what a great constellation of things to conquer with the eyes. i start out at the boardwalk in the foreground: walk all the way out to its edge, hoping for a ferryboat to pick me up and take me to the other side, so i can tiptoe up to the lonely angler (my favorite detail) beautifully framed by those two maritime "thingamajigs" i don't know the name of. ; ) the ferryboat doesn't come, though. so i just stand and stare out to him, imagining what's in his bucket and what may be happening aboard the mighty freighter out on the distant horizon – a reverie in purple and gold! greetings, sabine.
