Lenten Rose
Because it blooms very early in the year, the frost-resistant lenten rose brings a lot of colours in the mostly grey and dark winter months.
Despite its English name, this flower does not belong to the rose family but to the genus Ranunculus.
Dutch name : Oosters Nieskruid
German name : Orientalische Nieswurz (auch Frühlings-Christrose genannt)
Latin name : Helleborus orientales
