Large White
This familiar species is the largest of the white butterfly genus.
The Large White has a powerful flight and can migrate over extremely large distances.
The shot shows the butterfly while feeding on Brown Knapweed.
Brown Knapweed likes to grow on fairly cool and moist locations and is a rare species in Belgium !

German name : Großer Kohlweißling / Wiesen-Flockenblume
Latin name : Pieris brassicae / Centaurea jacea
