Castle 'Horst' at Sint-Pieters-Rode (Belgium)
This medieval watercastle dates back from the early 12th. century with important renovations during the 16th. and 17th. century after a huge fire.
It is said that the ghost of a legendary 15th. century lord of Horst comes back every midnight in a coach pulled by six wild horses because his soul can’t find rest for having murdered a priest. It is also said that the priest had an affair with the beautiful wife of the lord.….
