Hi everyone!
My name is Gioia, I am Italian and I recently moved to the United States (New York City) from London where I lived for several years.
Photography, along with writing, drawing and cooking (bloody Italians!), has always been a big passion for me since I was a child. I had my first camera at the age of eight, a huge, heavy Polaroid I used to carry with me everywhere!
Since then shooting pictures, as writing, has been an obsession. I am a curious person who is always in search of a different point of view.
For almost all of the years I have been shooting in analog. I used to love slides for the quality of the image. Recently, I (finally...) decided to move forward and bought my first digital camera. I now have a Canon EOS 40D and a new world in front of me to discover. Over all of these years, I have never had any formal training so I am looking forward to exchanging ideas and tips with all of you. My next investment will be in Photoshop so I can further refine my photographs.
I am looking forward to sharing my work and learning from all of you!
