mr. horse is enjoying the last warm rays of sunshine, while being peacefully lulled to sleep by the melodious buzz of the winter-stiff bees. in fact it works both ways, i think. he's so good-natured looking that i bet he's a great bee charmer, too: who needs a pipe to approach his bees, if he has a gentle horse instead! one soft soft snort will be enough to appease them. ; )) greetings, sabine. p.s.: i love how every beehive has its own individual "dorm color"!
