The Norwegian band Gåte who reunited for this year's UKA festival in Trondheim.

Light setup: Canon 580EX II with a shoot through umbrella from front above their heads (thanks to Lars for holding it up all the time!), Canon 430EX and Nikon SB-26 each through medium-sized softboxes from front left and right on the ground. All triggered with Skyports. Additionally two Nikon SB-26 from behind left and right, triggered optically.

Shot on a Canon 40D with a Tokina 12-24 f/4 lens. Post processing with Photomatix Pro and Lightroom.

der gitarrist spielt auch in einer band namens tjueto. sehr geiler sound. wie kommst du dazu für sie bandfotos zu machen? sehr cool ;-)

Ich mach nebenher für das Studentenmagazin hier Photos und nachdem Gåte diesen Herbst ein letztes Konzert in Trondheim geben werden, haben wir sie halt bei der Probe besucht und dabei is auch der Shot entstanden.
Bin sehr froh, dass das so geklappt hat :)
