Padova, Basilica di Santo Antonio.
Santo Antonio was a Franciscan born in Lisbon in 13 June 1195. He preached in Africa and died in the environs of Padova in 1231. His eloquence was remarkable and he was said to have performed several miracles as well as preaching to the fishes ( more clever than men ). His name is invoked in the search for mislaid objects. He is represented holding a book and baby Jesus. He is in Record Book for being the saint that was sanctified soon, just one year after his death.
Today and tomorrow are the festivals in Lisbon in honor of the Saint, that is the patron of Lisbon.
