Green tree frogs belong to a group of animals called amphibians, which are represented by three orders: Anura (Frogs and Toads), Urodela (Newts and Salamanders) and Apoda (burrowing worm-like creatures).
There are over 200 species of frogs known in Australia, with approximately 114 species living in Queensland.

They look rather comfortable, even being green, and they are posing proudly for a very nice picture, so they can be contend with their greenness :-) In the Amazone they can have almost any colour, but most of them are poisonous, and definitely not to be kissed. Just thinking - that would be a tragic story, being a prince transformed into a poison dart frog, killing the princess who finally kisses him, kind of a Stephen King version of the fairytale :-) ... Better kiss domestic frogs :-)
