Having skipped forward and backward between the two several times, I think that for some reason I prefer this image. Isn't it phantastic, how one can take a colour photo and in winter it comes out monochrome? The softness of the snow comes across beautifully and the eye is drawn into the depth of the wood. It conveys the silcence perfectly.Bye now, Lucy

Kann man Stille hören? Dieses Bild zeigt, dass man es kann. eine schöne Aufnahme, die genau die Stimmung wiedergibt, die man spürt, wenn man durch einen tiefverschneiten Wald geht.Das Hochformat gefällt mir übrigens besser als das Querformat.

In the upright format the big snowy trees show their decorativeness very well.One can really feel the silence.
