I can't draw, paint or write so photography is a natural choice. I consider myself a storyteller. When I first started in photography I only wanted to do landscapes and cityscapes and found it to be somewhat irritating when people were in the way. But now I find myself drawn to street photography in a black and white format. I try and pull the viewer into the image and make you feel apart of the scene. So if you enjoy this type of image then pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee and we will tell a few tales through photography. We don't need the entire story, the beginning will do, and you can guess the end. Click

"You wish you could stop that moment for ever, but you can't, it is bound to end. So you take a photo, as if to challenge time. Fractions of time snatched from eternity".
Quote by Robert Doisneau

“…. I remain thankful to be a photographer. In the midst of the torrent of technology we swim in daily, the unchanging mission for all shooters is to make pictures that arrest the eye of the viewer and describe our chosen subjects eloquently. We are part of an honored tradition, that of storytelling, which goes back to the dawn of time. Those prehistoric people, painting on their cave walls—were they doing anything different than we are now, with all our pixels and technical wizardry? I think not. They were leaving their footprints, and telling the story of their times, and their lives. With those ancient pigments on those rough walls, they were saying one simple thing: Remember us.” - Joe McNally

Thank you Ken for stopping by .. this picture is indeed special ! In essence, these are details of the city, with the landmark of the city, the huge 'Berlin Bear'; the mirrored column is part of an architecture and beside the advertising space of the movie ..:-)
Thanks again for your attention,
Kind regards, Dolores

thank you for your comment. you know: "there are things, that are known, there are things, that are unknown and in between there are doors" (jm morrison).
tales by frank kafka and edgar allen poe are between our cloosed and open doors in an imaginary space.
greetings from lig
