Photography arrived quite late in Pierluca’s life. Although he had an old Nikon in his closet, he only started experimenting his new reflex in 2009, without any prior knowledge, to get over a difficult relationship.
Since then he started to express his emotions in an “artistic” manner through photography, literally starting from scratch and taking shots using the manual mode and studying photography, as usual, on his own.
Taking pictures became something which went beyond the simple realization of images and this approach radically changed his life, bringing new life experiences and relationships with others, becoming a tool he used to express himself.
Pierluca presently lives in Rome, the city where he was born and worked for many years as art director. Whenever he can, Pierluca travels around the world to discover new parts of himself.
