I'm sorry I haven't been actively posting the last two weeks. My mothers health declined about two months ago and she passed away 17. April. I'm struggling with emotional issues after her loss.

The C 130 is part of a traning center fleet the USAF runs hear at the Little Rock Air Base. When the wind is right, they fly directly over head . I think we are on their down wind leg of the pattern. A lot of us G.I.s have memories of this airplane.

Hi Howard, I don't have macro lenses. That photo was shot with a home made 22mm. extension tube. It seems to work well and I think my next one will be better.

Thanks Howard, the cat was carefully watching the birds I had baited to the picnic table. She seems quite interrested.
The air craft is a static display F104 . I my self spent many years as a kid building flying modles and ended up repairing Army helicopters.
